예일 로스쿨은 미국내 최초로 저소득층 자녀들에게 학비를 점면 면제해주는 프로그램을 실시한다고 발표했다. 허스트 허라이즌 장학 프로그램은 가구 기준으로 소득이 연방 빈곤선 이하이며 자산이 15만 달러 이하인 학생에게 적용된다고 한다.
